Job summary

Paradise Resort Gold Coast is seeking a Chef de Partie to own a kitchen section within our fast-paced resort operation. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will deliver high-quality dishes across our outlets and support service during peak periods with a collaborative kitchen team.

This hands-on role requires a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and experience in busy, high‑volume kitchens, with opportunities for casual and full‑time shifts, staff discounts, and ongoing career development at

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (essential).
• Previous Chef de Partie experience, ideally within a high-volume kitchen.
• Confidence managing a kitchen section independently during busy service.
• Strong food safety knowledge, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive team attitude and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

About the role

Join our Kitchen team as a Chef de Partie. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of your kitchen section, deliver consistently high-quality dishes and support smooth service across our busy resort operation. You'll work alongside a collaborative kitchen and food & beverage team in a fast-paced, well-supported environment. Reporting to the Head Chef, this role suits a passionate chef who takes pride in quality and presentation.

Duties

Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes across our resort food outlets.

Independently manage your allocated kitchen section during preparation and service.

Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control.

Support and guide junior chefs, cooks and apprentices.

Skills & Experience
