Paradise Resort Gold Coast seeks a casual Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team, preparing and presenting fresh, high-quality breakfast dishes for resort guests each morning in a busy, supportive environment.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will thrive in a fast-paced kitchen with a collaborative F&B team, and rosters that include weekends and public holidays, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef or breakfast-focused kitchen role.
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery is highly regarded.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present breakfast dishes to exceptional quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen at all times.
• Implement stock control, rotation, and minimal wastage practices.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and F&B team during service.
• Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and Health & Safety standards.

About the role

Join our kitchen team as a casual Breakfast Chef, preparing and presenting fresh, high-quality breakfast dishes for resort guests each morning. You'll work alongside a collaborative kitchen and food & beverage team in a fast-paced, well-supported environment. Reporting to the Head Chef, this role suits a passionate chef who takes pride in quality and presentation.

Duties

• Prepare and present breakfast dishes to exceptional quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen at all times
• Implement stock control, rotation, and minimal wastage practices
• Collaborate with the kitchen and F&B team during service

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in a chef or breakfast-focused kitchen role
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (highly regarded)
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
• Passion for quality plating, presentation, and culinary excellence
• Strong teamwork and ability to perform efficiently under pressure
