Saint Haven Toorak is seeking a reliable Kitchen Hand to support Haven Wholefoods' kitchen operations. You will assist with basic food prep, stock handling, and keeping work areas clean and organized across a busy service week.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a kitchen hand or similar hospitality role
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleaning procedures
• Ability to assist with basic food preparation and stock handling
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Reliable, proactive and hands-on

Responsabilités

• Maintain exceptional kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards at all times
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation and general kitchen duties
• Receive, unpack and correctly store deliveries, ensuring stock is organised and accessible
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across kitchen workstations, equipment, storage and refrigeration areas
• Assist with waste management, dishwashing and end-of-day kitchen closing procedures
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, ensuring an efficient and seamless operation
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain high standards
