Job summary

LK Hospitality on Chapel Street in South Yarra seeks a dependable Kitchen Hand / Cleaner to keep the kitchen and event spaces spotless and running smoothly. The role is hands-on, with cleaning, dishwashing, and occasional deliveries across Melbourne, requiring a driver's license and the ability to lift up to 15 kg.

You'll join a busy, award‑winning team behind Melbourne venues like Portside and Omnia, with casual 2–3 day rosters and a company van provided for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Driver’s licence (required).
• Physically capable, including standing and lifting up to 15 kg.
• Casual 2-3 day roster availability.
• Previous kitchen hand or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes and appliances to a high standard.
• Maintain floors, surfaces and common areas through sweeping, mopping and general upkeep.
• Handle waste disposal and keep bins and storage areas orderly.
• Drive deliveries and transport goods.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies so nothing runs out.
• Support the kitchen team with basic food prep when needed.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines without exception.

We are looking for someone reliable, physically capable and happy to get stuck in. This is a replacement hire in a busy kitchen and events operation. The work is hands‑on: cleaning, dishwashing, and driving deliveries across Melbourne. If you take pride in keeping things spotless and you do not need to be told twice, keep reading.

The Role

You keep the kitchen and common areas clean, organised and running smoothly. Your shifts will mix between three core areas.
