Job summary

Ibis Styles Hobart is seeking a motivated kitchen team member to support high-quality food production and presentation across breakfast and dinner shifts. You will perform prep, maintain hygiene, assist with dishwashing, and report hazards while collaborating across departments to meet service standards.

Experience in kitchen preferred, with a willingness to learn, strong communication, and flexible availability across 7 days.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience; exposure to Asian cuisine desirable but not required.
• Willingness to learn and support the culinary team.
• Strong communication and professional attitude.
• Energy, motivation and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene, safety and food quality standards.
• Availability to work various shifts (breakfast or evening) across 7 days a week.
• Strong team spirit and ability to work well with others.
• Trade qualification or culinary training is an advantage, but not required.
