Lucas Collective in Melbourne is launching Wishbone and is seeking a Kitchen Hand to support our chefs in a high-energy, creative dining environment. Join day-one as we open this new concept and help set the standard for hospitality.

You’ll contribute to maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen and thrive in a fast-paced team. Experience in a kitchen is helpful, and flexibility across shifts including weekends is essential. Competitive salaries and venue discounts await.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment advantageous.
• Previous kitchen hand or labour role.
• Demonstrated organisational, time management & problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
• Must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including opening and closing shifts, days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to all chefs and maintain a clean, hygienic workspace.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with basic food preparation and mise en place as required.
• Adhere to food safety standards and cleaning schedules.
