Accor is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen Hand at the Qantas Lounges by Accor, Sydney Airport. Join a busy kitchen team, keep areas clean, and support service readiness behind the scenes.

The role requires experience in a commercial kitchen, food safety understanding, and the ability to work under pressure with flexible rosters, including mornings, afternoons and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Hospitality or hotel industry experience preferred.

• Must have full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchens clean, organised, and service-ready.
• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans and equipment with industrial dishwashing machines.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment and report issues.
• Keep kitchen, preparation and scullery areas clean and hygienic.
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks.
• Support kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Work across rotating roster including mornings, afternoons and weekends.

We’re looking for a Full-Time Kitchen Hand to join our friendly and supportive team at the Qantas Lounges by Accor at Sydney Airport. This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and taking pride in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchens clean, organised, and service-ready:
• Washing dishes, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machines.
• Cleaning and maintaining dishwashing equipment and reporting any issues.
• Keeping kitchen, preparation and scullery areas clean and hygienic.
• Ensuring correct handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Working across a rotating roster, including, mornings, afternoons and weekend

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Preferred experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
• Understanding of food safety requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure
• MUSThave flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including mornings, afternoonand weekends
• MUST have full working rights within Australia

Skills

• Time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
• Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
