Job summary

SeaLink Marine and Tourism is seeking a professional Kitchen Steward for McKenzies on 75 at K\'gari Beach Resort, offering buffet breakfasts, al‑la‑carte dining and poolside pizzas in a relaxed coastal setting.

You will maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen facilities, washing dishes, sanitising surfaces and assisting with food preparation. This live-on permanent part-time position invites you to embrace the remote lifestyle on World Heritage–listed K\'gari island.

Qualifications

• Food Handling Certificate is desirable.
• Driver's Licence is required.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and kitchen cleaning requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have the right to live and work in Australia.
• Physically fit with a hands-on approach.

About the Role

K'gari Beach Resort is seeking a professional Kitchen Steward to join our team in the resort's restaurant 'McKenzies on 75' offering buffet breakfasts, al-la-carte dining and pool-side pizzas in a relaxed coastal setting. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities. Your main responsibilities will include washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and assisting with food preparation as needed.

This role offers the unique opportunity to live and work in a stunning natural environment, surrounded by the beauty of K'gari (Paradise). This is a live on Permanent Part-Time, ideal for someone looking to embrace the remote lifestyle.

Skills and Qualifications

• Food Handling Certificate - desirable
• Driver's Licence - required
• Knowledge of chemical handling and kitchen are cleaning requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hold the right to live and work in Australia
