Job summary

SeaLink K’gari on Fraser Island is seeking enthusiastic food and beverage attendants to join our team. Bring hospitality energy from cafe, bakery, barista or buffet service to create exceptional guest experiences.

Relocation to staff accommodation is required; valid Queensland RSA and Food Handling Certificate (or ability to obtain) are essential. Wine and cocktail knowledge and barista experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in a similar role.
• Valid Queensland RSA (Or must obtain within 28 days).
• Wine and cocktail knowledge.
• Demonstrated barista experience.
• Valid Food Handling Certificate (or the ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide guest-focused service across cafe, bakery, barista, bar, hotel buffet or al-la-carte functions.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences with a positive and energetic attitude.
• Maintain health, safety and cleanliness standards across service areas.

The Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic food and beverage attendants who love what they do and bring a great energy to an already amazing team. Your hospitality skills and current experience in cafe or bakery, barista, bartending, hotel buffet, functions or al-la-carte service, will deliver exceptional guest experiences.

With an unbeatable beachfront address, K’gari Beach Resort is the hub for island experiences along the east coast of K’gari. This remote base is only accessible by 4WD and ignites a sense of adventure within a relaxed coastal escape. This is the place to build lifelong connections with likeminded colleagues from around the world and spend your free time exploring majestic rainforest canopies, prime ocean-fishing, ancient sand blows, and crystal-clear freshwater inland lakes.
