Job summary

WestsideHQ is seeking a reliable, hardworking Kitchenhand to join our busy kitchen team in Brisbane. You will help maintain cleanliness, efficiency and preparation standards throughout service, supporting chefs with basic tasks and managing deliveries.

Ideal candidates are reliable and punctual, able to work in a fast-paced setting, and comfortable standing for long periods. Flexible rosters including evenings, weekends and public holidays are available.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and well-presented.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual duties.
• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
• Receiving and storing deliveries appropriately.
• Managing waste disposal and recycling procedures.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
