Job summary

Contemporary Catering is a family owned catering service delivering to aged care facilities across Victoria and New South Wales. We are hiring a Food Service Assistant for part-time shifts across seven days.

You will serve meals with strong customer service, assist with basic food preparation, and help set up and clean down after service. Prior hospitality experience is valued but not mandatory; a food safety certificate is recommended, with police check and screening as required by facilities

Qualifications

• Hospitality/food service exposure preferred but not required.
• Compliance with food safety standards and facility requirements.

The role of a Food Service Assistant

in an Aged Care facility is busy as it is rewarding.

You will be required to,

• provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
• assist with basic food preparation.
• set up for meal service and clean down afterwards etc.

Part-time positions available, and shifts are offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability from 6:30am to 8:00pm

Prior hospitality experience is highly valued but not mandatory. A certificate in food safety is recommended. Additionally, you may be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check, as well as be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) in accordance with the requirements of the aged care facility at which you work.
