Job summary

Contemporary Catering in NSW is hiring a part-time Food Service Assistant for aged care facilities. You will support meal service, assist with basic food preparation, and help set up and clean down after service. Shifts run across 6:30am to 8:00pm, seven days a week, with flexibility to match your availability.

Prior hospitality experience is valued but not mandatory. A food safety certificate is recommended, and checks/vaccinations may be required by the facility.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience is valued but not mandatory.
• A certificate in food safety is recommended.
• You may be required to hold a National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Fully vaccinated (including COVID-19 booster) as per facility requirements.

The role of a Food Service Assistant

in an Aged Care facility is busy as it is rewarding.

You will be required to,

• provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
• assist with basic food preparation.
• set up for meal service and clean down afterwards etc.

Part-time positions available, and shifts are offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability from 6:30am to 8:00pm

Prior hospitality experience is highly valued but not mandatory. A certificate in food safety is recommended. Additionally, you may be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check, as well as be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) in accordance with the requirements of the aged care facility at which you work.
