Job summary

Contemporary Catering is a family owned business providing specialist catering services into Aged Care facilities across Victoria and New South Wales since 1992. We are seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our team in an aged care setting, delivering high-quality resident service and support.

You will assist with meal service, basic food preparation and setup, with part-time shifts available across all 7 days from 6:30am to 8:00pm.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience is valued but not mandatory.
• Certificate in food safety is recommended.
• You may be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check, and be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) as per facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Set up for meal service and clean down afterwards.

The role of a Food Service Assistant

in an Aged Care facility is busy as it is rewarding.

You will be required to,

• provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
• assist with basic food preparation.
• set up for meal service and clean down afterwards etc.

Part-time positions available, and shifts are offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability from 6:30am to 8:00pm

Prior hospitality experience is highly valued but not mandatory. A certificate in food safety is recommended. Additionally, you may be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check, as well as be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) in accordance with the requirements of the aged care facility at which you work.
