Job summary

Village Roadshow Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking a Kitchen Administration Assistant to join a busy kitchen team. You’ll be organized, detail-focused and adept at keeping processes running smoothly behind the scenes.

In this role you’ll support daily administration, update inventory, manage transfers and assist with production and requisitions to keep kitchens stocked and on track. Prior admin experience in hospitality helps, and SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience in hospitality or fast-paced operations.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory systems is advantageous.
• Understanding of stock control and COGS and month-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with updates to kitchen production, spoilage, transfers, requisitions and stock levels.
• Confirm completed production items in SAP inventory system.
• Complete stock transfers between kitchen outlets and the F&B Warehouse as required.
• Maintain accurate par levels and stock quantities in SAP.
• Create manual requisitions for requirements not captured through MRP.
• Collaborate with Inventory and Purchasing Controllers for system updates.
• Keep kitchen training manuals, stationery and admin forms up to date.
• Provide general administrative support to the kitchen team.

Sea World Resort is looking for a Kitchen Administration Assistant to join our busy kitchen team! If you’re organised, detail-focused and enjoy keeping things running smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Behind every great kitchen is great organisation. In this role, you’ll support the Kitchen Administration Coordinator with the day-to‑day administration that keeps our kitchens stocked, organised and operating efficiently. From updating inventory and stock transfers to assisting with production and requisitions, you’ll play an important part in keeping everything on track.

What You’ll be doing:

• Assisting with updates to kitchen production, spoilage, transfers, requisitions and stock levels
• Confirming completed production items in the SAP inventory system
• Completing stock transfers between kitchen outlets and the F&B Warehouse when required
• Assisting with reviewing and maintaining accurate par levels and stock quantities in SAP
• Creating manual requisitions for requirements not captured through the MRP function, including events and special requirements
• Working with Inventory and Purchasing Controllers to provide updates on recipes and par levels for system updates
• Keeping kitchen training manuals, stationery and administration forms up to date
• Providing general administrative support to the kitchen team and helping keep our systems and processes running smoothly

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous administration experience, ideally within a hospitality, kitchen or fast-paced operational environment
• Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory systems is an advantage
• A sound understanding of stock control, cost of goods and month-end processes
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and systems
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work with a range of team members
• The ability to juggle multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
• A professional, friendly and positive attitude
• An understanding of kitchen operations and what it takes to keep a busy kitchen running smoothly
