Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a friendly Kiosk Attendant at Stromlo Leisure Centre. You will deliver first-class customer service, manage the cafe area, handle cash, and promote centre services while maintaining a welcoming environment for patrons.

Previous barista experience is a bonus. Flexibility for mornings, evenings and weekends is required, with opportunities to grow within the Belgravia Leisure group.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus with a friendly, energetic approach.
• Experience with coffee/cafe operations is desirable.
• Certifications in Food Handling, First Aid, CPR are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Maintain cafe appearance and presentation.
• Replenish condiments as needed and handle cash through POS.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Promote centre services and programs to patrons.
• Develop and maintain good relations with patrons.
• Provide information on product range including healthy options.
• Work mornings, evenings and weekends; peak hours may increase.

The Role

Our Kiosk Attendants need to have the highest level of customer service skills.The primary responsibility of our Kiosk Attendants is to deliver first class services to our patrons ensuring it’s in line with our Mission, Vision and Values.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café
• Replenished condiments as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Promotethe centres services and programs to ourpatrons
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
• Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods
• Previous Barista Experience is highly desirable

Skills & Attributes:

• Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style

• Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)

Previous experience is a similar role is desirable, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset areencouraged to apply!
