Job summary

Belgravia Leisure operates the Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre and seeks friendly Café/Kiosk Attendants to deliver high‑quality service to members and visitors.

Role requires barista ability, cash handling, and availability mornings, evenings, and weekends; training in health, safety, and product knowledge will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly, high standard customer service in a busy cafe environment.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and food handling standards.
• Develop knowledge of product range and promote healthy options.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café
• Replenished condiments as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Promote the centres services and programs to our patrons
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
• Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods
• Previous Barista Experience is highly desirable

The Role

Our Café/Kiosk Attendants need to have the highest level of customer service skills. The primary responsibility of our Café/Kiosk Attendants is to deliver first class services to our patrons ensuring it’s in line with our Mission, Vision and Values.

Key Areas Of Responsibility Include

Previous experience is a similar role is desirable, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset are encouraged to apply!
