Catholic Early EdCare is hiring a Kindergarten Teacher in Sydney's southern suburbs for a permanent full-time term-time role. The position offers school holiday breaks while sustaining a permanent assignment, with mentorship and resources provided in our purpose-built centre.

Qualifications

• Must have ACECQA‑approved teaching qualfication for Early Childhood, or equivalent.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications are required.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is required for Queensland.
• Strong understanding of NQF, NQS and EYLF is essential.
• Willingness to act as Responsible Person in the Centre Manager's absence.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs for kindergarten students.
• Foster a safe, nurturing environment and support every child’s development.
• Maintain accurate documentation reflecting each child’s learning progress.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS and EYLF and related regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to build a positive, high-performing culture.

Education

ACECQA-approved Graduate Diploma, Bachelor, or Master of Teaching (Early Childhood)

First Aid certification

CPR certification

Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
