Job summary

Norwest Recruitment Pty in Sydney is seeking a commercially minded Key Account Manager to own a portfolio of major retail and e-commerce customers across Australia and New Zealand. The role offers $110K–$130K AUD + Super + Car Allowance + Incentives, with hybrid work from Hills District.

You will collaborate with internal teams to execute customer plans, manage head-office relationships and drive promotions, with travel occasional and a focus on growth across key channels.

Qualifications

• Experience managing major retail accounts
• Exposure to head-office stakeholders
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Ability to travel occasionally
• FMCG/consumer products background advantageous
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Managing relationships with major national retail and e-commerce accounts
• Developing and executing customer account plans across a 6–12 month horizon
• Managing promotional calendars, activations and customer campaigns
• Leading commercial discussions and negotiating customer agreements and promotional rebates
• Supporting range reviews and customer presentations
• Identifying opportunities to grow revenue and expand product distribution
• Monitoring customer sales, revenue and profit performance
• Working with Supply Chain to resolve stock and fulfilment requirements
• Gathering market and competitor intelligence through occasional store visits
• Supporting new product launches and securing ranging opportunities
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
