Job summary

Mondiale VGL Pty is seeking a senior logistics professional to own and grow a portfolio of strategic clients. You will bring freight forwarding and supply chain expertise, pairing it with strong commercial instincts to help clients move smarter while driving profitability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in end-to-end freight forwarding across multimodal movements.
• Deep understanding of PO management, supply chain flows, and operational best practice.
• Commercial acumen with experience managing margins, P&L, and pricing strategies.
• Confidence navigating complex logistics scenarios, customs, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret market intelligence and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Advanced systems knowledge with freight platforms, reporting, and visibility tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts, driving service excellence, retention and profitability.
• Build strong, multi-level relationships as the clients’ go-to person.
• Lead proactive account management, including regular reviews, reporting and QBRs.
• Turn global market trends and disruptions into practical strategies for clients.
• Oversee onboarding, SOPs and ongoing optimisation of client supply chains.
• Keep a close eye on margins and commercial performance at shipment and account level.
• Resolve escalations and manage exceptions with calm and confidence.
• Collaborate with operations, sales and global teams to deliver consistent results.
• Spot new opportunities through research and networking, and keep Client Intelligence up to date.

The role

At Mondiale VGL, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of strategic clients and become their trusted advisor, not just their point of contact.
