Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Australia is seeking an experienced Fleet Allocator Supervisor to lead daily transport operations in Sydney, coordinating fleet resources and schedules to meet service commitments.

You will coach a high-performing team, ensure CoR and Fatigue Management compliance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet allocation and transport operations.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a transport or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of transport logistics, fleet management, and delivery operations.
• Sound understanding of CoR requirements and transport compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan transport network.
• The ability to prioritise competing demands and make decisions in a time-critical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily fleet allocation and transport operations to ensure service commitments are achieved
• Coordinate and optimise delivery schedules, routes, and fleet utilisation
• Build strong working relationships with drivers, customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations, including Fatigue Management and Load Restraint requirements
• Support and coach team members to deliver safe, compliant, and customer-focused outcomes
• Manage transport-related issues proactively and implement effective solutions in a dynamic operational environment
