Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Australia is seeking an experienced Fleet Allocator Supervisor to lead daily transport operations within our Sydney network. You will oversee fleet resources, schedules, and compliance to deliver exceptional service for our customers.

As a supervisor, you will guide a high-performing team, optimise routes, and collaborate with drivers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet allocation or transport operations.
• Previous supervision or leadership experience in transport/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of transport logistics, fleet management and delivery operations.
• Solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and transport compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan transport network.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and make timely decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily fleet allocation and transport operations to meet service commitments.
• Coordinate and optimise delivery schedules, routes, and fleet utilisation.
• Build strong working relationships with drivers, customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with CoR obligations, including Fatigue Management and Load Restraint requirements.
• Support and coach team members to deliver safe, compliant, and customer-focused outcomes.
• Proactively manage transport-related issues and implement effective solutions in a dynamic environment.
