Job summary

Rosary Park Catholic School in Branxton invites applications for a permanent full-time Learning Support Coordinator (K-6). The role focuses on ensuring every child has access to high-quality learning and inclusive education within a Catholic school community.

Commencement is January 2027. The successful candidate will supervise the Learning Support team, coordinate assessments and personalised plans, collaborate with parents and external providers, and promote evidence-based teaching practices

Qualifications

• Articulate clear understanding of Catholic education and mission.
• Experience with K-6/7-12 students with disabilities across categories.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff, CSO and external partners.
• Experience delivering professional learning for staff and parents.
• Ability to lead a team and manage programs.
• Ability to gather and utilise assessment data to determine adjustments.
• Ability to prepare Personalised Plans and Learner Profiles for students with disability.
• Experience supporting enrolment and transitions.
• Knowledge of Disability legislation and NCCD.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Learning Support faculty/team.
• Identify students with special needs; coordinate referrals with parents and providers.
• Deliver intervention, teach students, and assist curriculum differentiation.
• Oversee adjustments via PP/LP documentation with teachers.
• Collaborate to align adjustments with school curriculum plans.
• Contribute to staff professional development and parent education.
• Coordinate documentation for enrolment and transitions.
• Ensure evidence collection for NCCD inclusion.
• Support development of inclusive learning environments.
• Manage programs to support students with disability.
• Build capacity of staff in Special Education.
