Finsbury Green is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to join the Technology Services team at our Port Melbourne site. This hands-on role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants to grow beyond helpdesk and take on broader systems and infrastructure responsibilities.

You’ll work with an experienced internal team across servers, networks, cloud services, cybersecurity, telephony, and physical security.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial IT experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows servers and Active Directory.
• Willingness to learn in a multi-site environment.
• Ability to document changes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation and improvement of the technology environment.
• Administer Windows Server, AD, Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and device access.
• Handle Windows endpoints and general support.
• Support server, storage, virtualization, backup and monitoring.
• Configure network switches, Wi‑Fi, firewalls and VPNs.
• Assist with Zoom Phone, meeting rooms and communications.
• Support CCTV, access control and physical security tech.
• Contribute to ISO 27001 security program.
• Create and maintain technical docs and network diagrams.
• Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades and projects.
