Job summary

ICC Sydney is seeking a motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our world-class culinary brigade. You will supervise the production kitchen under the Executive Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine, delivering exceptional food for events while maintaining ISO 22000 food safety standards.

You will lead teams across multiple sections, manage schedules and rosters, and ensure operations meet ICC Sydney Brand Standard guidelines with a focus on quality, cost control, and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a high-volume environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to adhere to HACCP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee team management within the Production kitchen.
• Deliver high-standard food preparation for events and manage multiple sections.
• Assist with schedules, rostering and food preparation to plan for events.
• Ensure strict food safety standards and brand guidelines are met.
• Lead, motivate and engage team members for a high-performance culture.
• Manage day-to-day Production kitchen operations, including food/labour costs and wastage.
