Qualificações

• Previous quality restaurant experience, ideally at Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef level.
• Strong technical cooking skills and passion for food.
• Experience with premium produce, seafood and quality meats.
• Solid understanding of kitchen operations, preparation and service.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Natural leadership and enjoyment of developing others.
• Positive attitude, work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Lead and motivate kitchen brigade during service, ensuring consistency and detail.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, preparation and presentation.
• Oversee mise en place, preparation and service across sections.
• Support menu development and contribute ideas for seasonal dishes.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, receiving and minimising waste.
• Help manage kitchen labour and food costs through planning and organisation.
• Mentor and develop junior chefs and apprentices, fostering a positive kitchen culture.

Housed within the historic former Barrack Street Bank building in the heart of Sydney's CBD, Eleven Barrack is a contemporary seafood and steak grill inspired by the grand dining rooms of New York and Paris. Working closely with the Head Chef and senior kitchen team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation. This is an opportunity to develop your leadership skills, contribute creatively to the kitchen and work alongside an experienced team within one of Australia's most respected hospitality groups.

Key responsibilities
