Job summary

Falcone Hospitality Services in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a motivated Junior Sous Chef to work closely with our Head Chef and support daily kitchen operations. This role is ideal for someone ready to grow into leadership within a dynamic venue.

Whether stepping up from a CDP or currently a Junior Sous, you will develop leadership skills and pursue a long-term career with a company that promotes from within. Expect 42 hours per week and staff meals as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience as CDP or Junior Sous Chef at a busy venue.
• Ability to support Head Chef and lead shifts.
• Strong understanding of food quality, presentation and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in running the kitchen day to day.
• Lead, coach and motivate the kitchen team on shift.
• Help maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
• Assist with ordering, stock control, rostering and menu execution.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and WHS standards are met.

The Office Hotel is a busy venue with great energy, and our kitchen is at the heart of it. We're looking for a talented, motivated Junior Sous Chef to join the team, working closely with our Head Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly and the food coming out right every time.
