Brooks Hire, located in Regency Park, is seeking a Junior Parts Interpreter. This entry level position includes training and guidance to help you grow within a family-owned business with 45 years of operation and a large nationwide fleet.

Responsibilities include parts interpretation, ordering/receipting, inventory control, and customer support while maintaining supplier relationships. Forklift and manual driver licenses are required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable (1 year).
• Knowledge of earthmoving machinery is beneficial.
• Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Interpreting parts requirements and processing orders.
• Purchasing and receipting parts orders.
• Pickup and delivery of parts as required.
• Inventory control including monthly stock takes.
• Organising parts and assisting the team with ad hoc duties.
• Relief duties for the parts department as required.
• Provide customer support and maintain supplier relationships.
• Ensure operations comply with Environment and OS&H standards.

We have branches nationwide with over 5000 pieces of machinery in the hire fleet. Brooks Hire is one of the largest privately owned companies in Australia ensuring we are both client focused and maintain our values.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Parts Interpreter to join the Brooks Hire team, located within our Regency Park branch.

Please note this is an entry level position. Training and guidance will be provided.

Responsibilities/duties will include:

• Parts Interpreting
• Ordering and receipting of parts ordered
• Pickup and delivery of parts as required
• Inventory Control including monthly stock takes
• Organisation of parts (sorting and distributing)
• Assisting Managers/Staff with ad hoc duties
• Relief work for parts department as required
• Customer Support
• Maintain Supplier Relationships
• Ensure all operations are compliant with Environment and OS&H Standards

Requirements:

• 1 year experience in a similar role (desirable)
• Knowledge of earthmoving machinery
• Manual Driver License
• Forklift License required
• Sound computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible work hours
