Job summary

SunDrive Solar Pty Ltd is seeking a Junior Mechatronics Engineer for a fixed-term 6-month contract in Kurnell, Australia. You will work with experienced hardware and software engineers on automation systems for customers, gaining hands-on design, prototyping, testing, and commissioning experience.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or related engineering, with a hands-on approach and interest across embedded systems, electronics and automation.

• Hands-on problem solving and willingness to learn in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on a hardware/software-based subsystem, taking ownership as you gain experience in design, prototyping, testing and commissioning.
• Contribute to development and improvement of lab and production systems in Kurnell, supporting system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware and software domains and take initiative in activities.
• Travel opportunities may arise to support deployment and commissioning of our technology.
