Job summary
Leaders IT, a Peoplebank division, is seeking a Junior Application Support Engineer – Manufacturing Systems in Melbourne. This role offers early career development across infrastructure, networking, systems administration and enterprise platforms, with mentoring and hands-on experience on manufacturing applications.
You'll support Level 1/2 for manufacturing apps, assist with incidents and documentation, and work with shop-floor users and SAP environments.
Qualifications
- Foundation in IT, information systems, software, or related engineering discipline.
- Exposure to application support, service desk, or systems administration is a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Interest in manufacturing tech and SAP environments.
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with experienced specialists.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for manufacturing applications.
- Assist with troubleshooting and incident investigations.
- Work with shop-floor users to understand and resolve issues.
- Monitor manufacturing applications and interfaces and escalate failures.
- Support testing, configuration, and release activities.
- Maintain support documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Assist with data traceability, records, and quality processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of stability and UX.
- Participate in development pathway with mentoring and learning.
