Job summary

Qualifications

• Passion for food and keen interest in culinary arts.
• Some experience in a commercial kitchen environment, either as a commis chef or apprentice.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or commitment to undertaking an apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef and Senior Chefs in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for our menu.
• Learn and develop new culinary skills and techniques under the guidance of our experienced team.
• Ensure all kitchen operations adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve kitchen processes and menu items.
• Undertake any other duties as required to support the kitchen team.
