Job summary

Excel Contracting in Sydney is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our site teams and help deliver civil projects on time and to a high standard. You will work closely with site teams, read and interpret civil drawings, contribute to project programming, and assist with project documentation and commercial aspects as required.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of experience and strong communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Competent IT skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
• The ability to work within a team as well as independently
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail

Excel is an established earthmoving, excavation and civil works business in Sydney. Our civil projects entail road and drainage works, underpinning, shotcreting, shoring, concreting, bulk and detail excavation.

Our experienced site teams offer our clients comprehensive management from a safety, quality and environmental perspective.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Due to an increasing workload we are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team who will work with our experienced site teams.

Your duties will include:

• Working closely with site teams to deliver projects
• Ensure Quality, Safety and Environmental aspects are adhered to;
• Reading and interpreting civil drawings;
• Involvement in updating and understanding project programming;
• Assisting in the preparation of all incoming and outgoing project documentation and commercial aspects where required.
