Job summary

SEE Group is seeking a Project Engineer to join its civil infrastructure team in Australia. This full-time role involves planning, coordinating and supervising technical aspects of construction projects, with hands-on site involvement on roads, drainage and subdivision works.

You will work closely with Project Manager and Supervisors to drive quality, safety and schedule, while tracking costs, variations and progress claims on active sites across the South Coffs Harbour region.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of civil construction experience.
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
• Experience in civil infrastructure, land development, subdivision or bulk earthworks.
• Knowledge of QA, ITPs, cost tracking and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities and subcontractors.
• Manage quality assurance, ITPs and compliance documentation.
• Track costs, variations and progress claims.
• Provide input into short-term programming and project planning.
• Ensure safety standards and site procedures are upheld.
• Solve problems as they arise on active civil construction sites.
• Support the delivery of civil infrastructure and land development subdivision projects from early works through to completion.

We’re growing. Our Civil Infrastructure and Land Development team has secured a strong pipeline of projects across the South Coffs Harbourregion, and we’re looking for a Project Engineerwho wants more than just a support role.

You’ll be involved in delivering a range of civil infrastructure and land development subdivision projects, including roads, drainage, underground services, earthworks and associated civil works.

What You’ll Be Doing

You won’t be stuck behind a desk. Working closely with the Project Manager and Supervisors, you will:

• Coordinate daily site activities and subcontractors.

• Ensure safety standards and site procedures are upheld.
• Solve problems as they arise on active civil construction sites.

This is a hands‑on role across active projects involving roads, drainage, underground services, bulk earthworks and subdivision infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to Engineers with 2–6 years’ experience in civil construction who:

• Hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
• Have experience in civil infrastructure, land development, subdivision or bulk earthworks projects.
• Understand QA, ITPs, cost tracking and project documentation processes.
• Can build strong working relationships with supervisors, subcontractors, clients and consultants.
• Take ownership and initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do.
• Are committed to delivering safe, high-quality work.
