Job summary

QRI Village Coppabella is seeking a Junior Chef to join the camp kitchen team on a 7/7 roster. You will help prepare and deliver quality meals for residents and guests in a busy camp environment.

Seeking qualified chefs or apprentices with a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn; must be an Australian citizen/resident or hold a valid visa. Accommodation and meals are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified chefs or have recently completed their apprenticeship.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable and willing to learn.
• Enjoy being part of a team.
• Can work at a good pace while maintaining quality.
• Take pride in their food and workplace.
• Must be an Australian Citizen, Resident or Valid Working Visa.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals as part of the kitchen team.
• Assisting with breakfast, lunch and dinner preparation.
• Following food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
• Supporting senior chefs and learning all areas of the kitchen.
• Working efficiently in a busy camp environment.
