Job summary

Civeo Australia is offering apprentice chef opportunities in our Queensland accommodation villages. The role involves supporting the kitchen team to prepare, cook and present meals to menus and standards, while you complete your apprenticeship.

This is a full-time position on a rotating 14/7 roster, designed for growth in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Ideal candidates will have some kitchen experience, strong teamwork and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial kitchens preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
• Willingness to complete written and practical apprenticeship competencies.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Valid working rights in Australia for 4 years; sponsorship not available.
• Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support team to prepare, cook and present high-quality meals.
• Maintain timeliness, presentation and friendly service.
• Progress through written and practical apprenticeship assessments.
