Job summary

QRI Village Coppabella is seeking a Junior Chef to join the camp kitchen team on a 7/7 roster. You will help prepare and deliver quality meals for residents and guests in a busy camp environment.

Seeking qualified chefs or apprentices with a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn; must be an Australian citizen/resident or hold a valid visa. Accommodation and meals are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified chefs or have recently completed their apprenticeship.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable and willing to learn.
• Enjoy being part of a team.
• Can work at a good pace while maintaining quality.

Working as part of the QRI Village kitchen team, you will help prepare and deliver quality meals for our camp residents and guests. The role offers a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, giving you a full week off every fortnight.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and cooking meals as part of the kitchen team

Assisting with breakfast, lunch and dinner preparation

Following food safety and hygiene requirements

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen

Supporting senior chefs and learning all areas of the kitchen

Working efficiently in a busy camp environment

About you
