Qualifications

• Bachelor qualification in accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with MYOB/Xero.
• Construction industry experience is desirable.
• Excellent Excel and Microsoft skills.

Responsibilities

• Review weekly timesheets for accuracy.
• Process wages and entitlements weekly based on industrial awards.
• Resolve payroll issues and respond to queries from clients and employees.
• Produce weekly payslips and send to employees.
• Follow up outstanding timesheets with the works allocator.
• Create and send invoices to customers.
• Track money owed to clients and monitor payment due dates.
• Reconcile discrepancies between billed and received amounts.
• Maintain records of all financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist with biannual audits and taxation requirements.
