Job summary

RGIS Australia is seeking a Junior Accounts Officer on a casual basis. The role is based in Surrey Hills, VIC, with a hybrid arrangement and flexibility to work from home part of the week.

You will handle invoicing, AR reporting, reconciliations and payroll assistance, gaining practical exposure across AR, payroll and month-end processes within a growing international business. The position supports a supportive team and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak/read/write Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in accounts, bookkeeping or finance administration is desirable.
• Experience using MYOB or similar accounting software is desirable.
• Understanding of AR, AP and payroll processes is desirable.
• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue proforma invoices and tax invoices.
• Prepare weekly AR reports.
• Issue customer statements fortnightly.
• Follow up overdue accounts and assist with collections.
• Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations.
• Match and allocate bank transactions.
• Process employee reimbursement claims.
• Maintain accurate financial records and data entry.
• Import employee timesheets and assist with payroll processing.
• Assist with month-end closing and record invoices, credit notes and payments.
