Job summary

Veracity Group is seeking a diligent accounting professional to support daily financial operations across Australia. You will prepare and reconcile bank statements, process supplier invoices, manage payroll and statutory reporting, and help deliver timely financial statements.

The role requires CA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and 2–3 years Australian experience. Proficiency with Xero or MYOB and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or fully qualified CA, CPA, or CIMA or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 2–3 years accounting experience in an Australian business.
• Sound knowledge of Australian payroll, superannuation, STP, BAS, GST, FBT and payroll tax.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and accounts monthly and year-end.
• Process supplier bills with coding, approval and data entry.
• Generate and issue customer invoices on time.
• Process payroll in line with Fair Work and ATO requirements.
• Maintain the general ledger, journals and subsidiary accounts.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and GST returns accurately and on time.
• Support year-end audit and financial statements.
