Enrola in Brisbane is seeking a Junior Account Executive to join the early sales team. You will book meetings, qualify opportunities, and move toward an Account Executive role based on results.
You’ll work with Enrola’s AI agents to engage education providers and book demos, building a scalable, outcomes-driven sales process. Coaching from the Head of Growth and the CEO will help you accelerate and you’ll be among the first sales hires at an AI company with paying customers.
Enrola · Brisbane, hybrid · Reports to the Head of Growth
Waiting on a promotion to AE? Enrola promotes on results, not tenure. You book meetings, close your own deals from month one, and move up when your numbers say you're ready.
Enrola builds AI sales agents for businesses that win or lose on how quickly they answer an enquiry. When someone asks about a course or a service they're weighing up, Enrola's agent replies by SMS within seconds, qualifies them and books the call with a person on the client's team.
Most customers today are private education providers, many of them registered training organisations. It's now time to grow the range of clients, and Enrola's ICP is B2C companies with high lead volumes selling considered, valuable products and services. Working out which sectors sell best is part of this job.
Sales has been founder-led until now. Enrola is building its first sales team, and the Junior AE seat is the way into it. Several people are joining in the next few weeks, so you won't be doing this on your own.
$100K base plus super, plus commission on the meetings you book and the deals you close
A written path to Account Executive. You're promoted on what you book and close, and there's no minimum time in the seat
You close from your first month. Some of the meetings you create are yours to work, and that share grows as you hit your numbers
A product the prospect tries on the call, set up for their own business, so a good discovery call turns into proof quickly
Coaching from the Head of Growth and the CEO, who have closed most of what Enrola has sold
One of the first sales hires at an AI company with paying customers
Brisbane hybrid. Three days a week in the office for your first one to two months, then more flexible
Prospect into education providers and the newer verticals every day, mostly by phone, with email, LinkedIn and SMS alongside
Qualify inbound leads and the warm ones the Head of Growth's automation sends you, and book discovery calls and demos
Run discovery and demos on your own opportunities and take them through to a signed order form, smaller plans first, then the larger ones as you move up
Hand the rest to an Account Executive with a full record of the conversation, and help them close where it's useful
Keep HubSpot up to date, because it is how your numbers are counted
Join the call reviews and pipeline reviews, and bring back what buyers in each vertical are saying
Early on, most of your week is booking meetings that someone else will close. It starts as an SDR role with closing built in and a defined way out. If you want a full closing seat from day one, this one will frustrate you.
You don't need to have sold AI, or sold into education. What matters is that you've been booking meetings against a target, and you're near the top of your team when you do.
You're an SDR or BDR now, or you've run a phone-led new business desk somewhere else
You can quote your numbers: meetings booked, opportunities created, attainment against target
You pick up the phone first
You want to close, and the path where you are is slower or vaguer than you'd like
You take coaching well and act on it the same week
First month: in the office, learning the product and the education buyer, booking meetings and running your first discovery calls
First quarter: meeting your booking numbers every month and closing your first deals
Six months: working a bigger share of your own pipeline and selling more of the range
After that: Account Executive, when your numbers say you're ready
A screen with Pointer, an interview with the Head of Growth, a second call, then an in-person final with the CEO in Brisbane. Enrola moves quickly, and the whole process can run inside two weeks.
Plenty of SDR roles promise a path to AE and leave the timing to someone's judgement. Here the bar is set before you start, and you'll know each month where you stand against it.
You also close from the start. That means the record that gets you promoted starts building in your first month, rather than once a seat opens up.
