Bamara seeks a Job Mentor (First Nations Specialist Provider) under Workforce Australia to deliver culturally safe, holistic support to First Nations clients. You will help participants identify employment goals, address barriers, and build skills to secure sustainable employment.

You will work closely with participants and employers to provide mentoring, guidance and ongoing support throughout their employment journey, ensuring respectful engagement with diverse communities.

• Demonstrate strong cultural competency when working with First Nations communities.
• Able to apply mentoring, case management, and employment services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and advocacy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of local community services, employers, and support networks
• High level of organisational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or case management systems
• Understanding of typical barriers faced by unemployed participantsreturning to the workforce
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet and exceed outcome-focused KPIs
• Must pass and have a current Police Check
• Must pass and have a current Working with Children Check and/or Vulnerable Persons Check
