Job summary

Bamara seeks a Job Mentor (First Nations Specialist Provider) under Workforce Australia to deliver culturally safe, holistic support to First Nations clients. You will help participants identify employment goals, address barriers, and build skills to secure sustainable employment.

You will work closely with participants and employers to provide mentoring, guidance and ongoing support throughout their employment journey, ensuring respectful engagement with diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong cultural competency when working with First Nations communities.
• Able to apply mentoring, case management, and employment services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and advocacy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally safe, holistic, and tailored support to First Nations clients.
• Help participants identify employment goals and address barriers to employment.
• Build skills and confidence to secure and maintain sustainable employment.
