Airlie Jetski Tours in Airlie Beach is seeking a casual Jet Ski Tour Guide to run fun, safety‑driven tours for guests. You’ll greet riders, brief them clearly, and lead tours while ensuring safety and enjoyment in the Whitsundays.

The role requires a Coxswain Grade 3 preferred or a PWC licence as a starting point, a First Aid Certificate, a valid car licence, and a positive, customer‑facing attitude. Training and support are provided for qualifications.

You’ll help first-time riders find their confidence, lead exciting adventures and make every guest feel welcome. Think turquoise water, island views and guests heading home with big smiles and great stories.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll bring the energy and enthusiasm that make our tours memorable, while keeping safety at the heart of every ride.

Your day will include:

• Welcoming guests, checking them in and fitting their safety gear.
• Delivering clear, engaging safety briefings.
• Leading jet ski tours and supporting riders of different confidence levels.
• Completing pre-ride checks and monitoring weather and tides.
• Safely launching and retrieving jet skis.
• Refuelling, flushing engines and cleaning skis and equipment.
• Recording basic maintenance checks and reporting any issues.
• Helping with fuel runs, trailer transport and keeping everything organised.

What we’re looking for

You’re a people person—friendly, reliable and excited to help guests have a great time. You’re comfortable giving clear instructions, working as part of a team and pitching in with the practical jobs between tours.

You’ll need:

• Coxswain Grade 3 preferred. If you don’t have it yet, a jet ski licence (PWC licence) is a great starting point, and we can help you gain your Coxswain Grade 3 qualification.
• A current First Aid Certificate.
• A current car licence.
• Confident swimming ability and good water safety awareness.
• Fitness for an active, hands-on outdoor role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Previous tour guiding experience, higher marine qualifications, towing experience or mechanical knowledge will be highly regarded.
