About The Role

We are currently seeking experienced candidates to join our team as Deckhands on a casual basis. This is your chance to create memorable guest experiences through exceptional guest service delivery and vessel operations.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Preparation of the vessels for transportation
Safe securing and departure of vessels
Safety and comfort of all guests
Conducting rescue and lookout duties
Assist with food service and daily cleaning duties
In‑water rescue and lookout duties for guests
Ensuring high‑quality service delivery

About You

The ideal candidate will be motivated and possess a passion for sharing special places and creating lasting memories. You will be a team player with a demonstrated positive 'can‑do' attitude, comfortable working on water with extensive deckhand experience, and committed to delivering high‑quality, professional guest service while proudly representing Cruise Whitsundays.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following attributes:

Reliability and self‑motivation with a proactive approach, allowing you to adapt to various situations and ensure a positive guest experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience in Marine Operations, with demonstrated deck skills and a strong understanding of marine and tourism environments
Intermediate to advanced swimming skills, along with the ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining high levels of marine safety and compliance, ensuring all training and certificates are up to date
