Job summary

Wandiyali, based in Newcastle, NSW, seeks an ITC Youth Worker to provide day-to-day care and support in Intensive Therapeutic Care settings. You will contribute to safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments for children and young people, aligning with cultural safety and highest care standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Youth Work or related field; willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification; WWCC and National Police Check.
• Experience with children and young people in care, especially with complex trauma.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
