Job summary

Securitas in Preston, VIC is hiring an IT Support Technician to provide Level 1 and 2 IT support for end users across desktop, laptop, mobile and workplace systems. You will help onboard and offboard users, manage IT assets, and ensure security and compliance while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role is a full-time, onsite position with salary between $70,000 and $90,000 plus superannuation, based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support, Service Desk, or Desktop Support.
• Strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of asset management and device deployment.
• Basic understanding of networking and endpoint security.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for end-user technology issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, network, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Support users with Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office applications.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including user accounts, access requests, equipment allocation, and retrieval.
• Build, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Maintain IT asset registers and inventory records.
• Manage the allocation, return, replacement, and disposal of IT equipment.
• Perform software installations, upgrades, and device configurations.
• Support endpoint patching, compliance, and security initiatives.
• Coordinate warranty repairs and hardware replacements.
• Maintain support documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Escalate complex issues to infrastructure, security, or global support teams as required.
• Deliver professional and customer-focused IT support services.

Role Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to end users, ensuring the reliable operation of desktop, laptop, mobile, and workplace technologies. Work Arrangement:Full-time onsite role, 5 days per week from the office

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation, based on skills and experience.
