Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide client service and support for IT operations across Newcastle Anglican agencies. The role involves maintaining infrastructure, ensuring IT security, and adhering to policies and procedures.

This is a maximum 12-month contract located in New South Wales. The ideal candidate will have tertiary IT qualifications, Microsoft 365 certifications, and strong knowledge of SQL Server, IIS and Active Directory.

Qualifications

• Tertiary IT qualification or certifications required.
• Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Broad understanding of desktop applications, systems administration and networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized direct and escalated technical support from a central location via phone, email or ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve IT issues; escalate to senior staff/vendors as needed.
• Participate in IT upgrades and routine maintenance, monitor releases and patches.
