Job summary
The Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is seeking a dedicated Service Desk Analyst to join the Technology Services Department on a permanent full-time basis. You will act as the first point of contact for IT support, delivering professional services to staff, students, and volunteers and supporting desktop services at Newcastle West Campus.

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or similar experience.
- Experience in an enterprise IT Service Desk environment.
- Proven customer-focused communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective first-level IT support via the Service Desk.
- Deliver prompt, empathetic and professional assistance to stakeholders.
- Maintain and update incident/request records and knowledge docs.
- Assist in hardware/software deployment and asset tracking.
- Support ongoing service improvements and documentation quality.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service delivery.
