Job summary

Randstad in Brisbane is seeking an IT Support & Systems Officer for a hands-on 3-month contract to deliver first-line support while managing core business systems, user access, and security controls across multiple platforms.

You will blend service desk triage with system administration, application support, and key IT project rollouts to ensure secure and reliable technical operations for the organisation.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in IT (or currently studying toward one) is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience in IT support, service desk triage, system administration, and managing user access.
• Familiarity with OpenText Content Manager, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Intune, Cisco/Sophos networking, and virtual infrastructure.
• Openness to participate in some after-hours activities and overtime when required by business needs, valid driver's licence for site travel, and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues, managing the full lifecycle of support tickets from triage to resolution.
• Administer user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations across platforms like Microsoft 365, Asset Management, and OpenText Content Manager.
• Coordinate the setup, deployment, patching, and maintenance of IT equipment, while supporting cybersecurity controls and access protocols.
• Support key business applications (SharePoint, Power Automate, MS Forms) and assist with the setup and maintenance of CCTV systems and infrastructure.
• Provide informal and structured training to staff, maintain technical documentation, and assist with the deployment of specialised IT projects.
