Mid-Western Regional Council in Mudgee, NSW is seeking an IT Officer - Projects to provide technical support across IT projects and initiatives. You will work with Project Managers and stakeholders to deliver solutions within scope, budget and timeframes, and contribute as a project team member across corporate applications and technology initiatives.

Formación

• Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar technical role, with demonstrated project management or project coordination skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical staff.
• Attention to detail, accurate documentation and prioritisation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide IT technical support and advice to Project Managers in the delivery of Council projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure Council projects are developed to align with objectives and IT Strategy.
• Facilitate effective communication and liaison with project stakeholders including staff, Management, Council, User Groups and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with Council contractors and suppliers and ensure procurement policies are followed.
• Undertaking other duties and training as required and in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of employees and visitors.
