Job summary

Experience Gold Coast is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager for a 12‑month fixed-term contract. You will own the technology environment across multiple sites, leading IT operations, cybersecurity and business systems while coordinating with a managed service provider and suppliers.

You will drive roadmaps, manage incidents, and champion the adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot and enterprise AI tools, ensuring security, reliability and performance across HOTA, Student Hub and Broadbeach.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT operations in multi-site organisations.
• Strong networking, infrastructure and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Experience with IT service management and cloud services.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot and enterprise AI tools.
• Solid vendor management and procurement skills.
• ITIL, project management or cybersecurity qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, networks and business systems across sites.
• Coordinate managed service provider and technology suppliers.
• Lead major incidents, cybersecurity risks and business continuity.
• Develop technology roadmaps and advise on priorities and investments.
• Oversee procurement, licensing, assets and renewals.
• Build stakeholder relationships and support AI tool adoption.
